im liking this one, the leads very nice, with a very bright edged tone on it. the rhytmn behind chugging along is good too, again theres this element of distance on this track, i don't know what it is, it almost sounds live rather than recorded, i feel it should be a bit more closer to the listener, its a weird one as it's all based on perception innit. again cracking stuff and i really liked this one.

Author's Response:

You really think that it sounds live? Cool...I guess. :) Well, I did just some guitar stuff on speedmetalmessiahs backing track. Yeah, it's pretty unusual stuff that I played there but somehow I liked it as well. :)

I guess it was more kinda rock than metal. Thanks for all your reviews and votes man! Keep in touch. ;)

i could really see some vocals on top of this, the guitar is simply awesome again. what do you use to keep your distortion in check? suppose it's just quality eq and stuff innit. anyways you really should try and get someone t sing for you, and expand the songs a bit more as they are all awesome.

Author's Response:

I already got a singer. It's badmaninc. :) I'm just not the kinda guy who can write lyrics, thats all. To be honest, I really don't do much to keep my distortion in check. I use some modified presets on guitar rig 2 and EQ my guitars a little. And thats about all. :)

Your right with the length. I really need to develope a killer tune with 4 mins. of length. Will try soon. :)

yea well shitty guest guitar lol. you may or may not know that this isnt my favourite genre of music, but from what i can tell it's fucking fantastic what you do. if you ever fancy putting some leads on my tunes i'd gladly let you, but maybe you'll have to be a little restrained i don't know. but yea great stuff again.

"very nice"

it has a great signature tune element this, and the lead riff has a great tone around a fairly simple line. the drums sound really distant tho, i think it's that snare, actually the whole tune sounds a little distant tbh, it's all good tho. does anyone else play with you or is it just you doing all the parts as it's pretty darn ace if it's just you. anyways yea

Author's Response:

Nope, it's just me overdubing myself. Right with the sound. I really need to do something about that "distant" thingy. : /

Thanks for the vote and the review dude. :)

nice bit of head banging there, i think you could really develop this, get a vocal on it and add some b and c sections. other than that its a great loop, the phased effect at the end is cool and very rarely features in any music nowadays. the drums sound really authentic too, i wonder what programme you use.

anyways 9/10

Author's Response:

I'm really thinking about making this into a full song. Got some kick ass ideas for this one. I agree with the phaser effect. I used it on some songs now and I think it will go into my "standards" somewhere. :)

What I use for drums? What nearly everyone else uses here. Acoustica beatcraft that is, just with custom samples. I really like those one atm.

Again, thx for checking my stuff back and thx for taking the time to write those shit. \m/

Well im liking the opening section, that thermin effect was good, and the iced strings underlying are really creepy. the beats top notch, some great glitching and banging pots and pans. there's loads of layers here man, old skool saws and squares are always cool when done well. it's when they dominate a tune it ruins stuff, you use em cool. the rhodes piano section is very nice too, with a breathy vocal on it. you always manage to get a great vocal on your tracks, crsip clear and concise.

it's a quality track this ped, reminds me a bit of something but the name isn't coming to me right now, a bit of massive attack and some aphex elements. again it's a very refreshing track, pleasing on the ears, as it keeps meandering into different places. this will promptly get my download when im back home, and i already voted it yesterday.

fucking crazy stuff ped. is this like your new direction that you've decided to go? believe me it has legs, it like an acid jazz funk meltdown of sorts. really good stuff. the drums are simply fricking ace. it just feels really fresh and new. i cant really comment on anything individual it just all blends really well together tho i do like the breakdown in the middle, just gives the rest of the track space, great track.

well, the opening brass instrument is very synthy, which to do classical and make it sound authentic you really don't want, but it's incredibly hard to get decent brass with any synth or emulator so it's only a minor gripe.

i like the string in the background repating the small melody line.

it just feels like it should be going somewhere this mate, especially on the closing bar, i was expecting it to break down into a dance track of some sort but nope. i'll like to see it developed.

anyways good stuff mate

alreet mate, how do and all that shite. this track is cool man, fucking love dnb, i think the vocal is a bit too much mind, just needs pulling bk a bit for the rest of the mix to breathe.

i'm listening on crappy speakers here so i can't pick everything up clearly, as theres too much top and little bottom to discern properly. the strings were really nice tho mate, had a nice professional vibe to em. it's all good this track, just compliments the genre but doesn't add anything new to it.

good effort mate. 9/10

Author's Response:

Ya, should have spent more time on teh vox to get em right... i was pretty bored with the song and just wnted it done asap... bad move, as usuall :)

Thanx for the review mate! :)
