ooooooooooooooooooooo there's some lovely sparkle. some bum notes...............your dissoance is bot right. Big build. GUITAR is lovely. TAME those hats and ride, verb that shizzle. cos it's lovely, but it sounds like two different rooms.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

god

the vocal supported with the organ.............sigur ros......you nailed it. I have got the build. And by god, it works. magnificently.

That swell.....yes....drums need more verb.

THAT VOCAL HARMONY.

is that you? Never heard your vocal.

your crescendo is great, there's pay dirt. it's a five all day my mucker. fucking love it. only thing i recommend is to make it softer overall, it's all up close, drums too much.

CHIPTUNE.

i hate chiptune. I like chiptune. I do not like this. Get it yes. like it no. some great trills specifically the later end.Thats got wingts. the whole front end no. do not like. production wise.....onh...like a bulimic on fingers on.....like a ho on crack...on. but by god i do not like the track. 3/5.

5'd cos im nice :)

KB my old muker.

You know, me, not a techno fan. its noise for noise sake. I would out this more to grind core. the amibient synth, wide verb on a lot of synths. you remove the drum, it's amibient. The middle 8 is a wonderful nod to thats element. back in, yea it's right. it knits well, there's some cracking synth, that sawtooth near the end.........cutting and awesome.

mislabled, probably misjudged. LOVE what you are going for.........dont know what it was.

4.5

Kingbastard responds:

I disagree. 'Techno' covers a multitude of electronic styles, this is within those realms, verging on minimal techno. To label Techno as 'noise for noise sake' is a little misjudged in my humble opinion. I don't like to dismiss any genre as there is something good in every one, although in some it is harder to find the wheat among the chaff. There are many many great Techno tracks that are technically and sonically brilliant, good 'noise' indeed;) I thought this track was more Techno than my usual labelling of 'Miscellaneous'. Shame NG doesn't cover more genre categories really. Cheers for taking the time to leave a review.

Nasty Pasty! Very dark indeed. I like.

LJCoffee responds:

too kind.

YES! This is an awesome track. Deep bass. Ambient. Just how I like my music to be. This is desperately in need of a vocal, thinking something like Lana Del Ray on West Coast. You'd make a fucking killing with her vocals on this ha. The piano is a little too bright, I would add a long reverb on it and let it wash over the track. I would bring it back in for a refrain rather than finishing at 2.43 as well/ However I love this track. Make more.

LJCoffee responds:

Going back and listening again, I think that I like your suggestion concerning washing out the piano a little more. I'll try something like that next time around.

Yo! This would I believe would fall under drum and bass technically or grime core. I like it mate, the vocals really nice man, a tad incoherent in places due to te heavy nature of the track. I like it though, I used to do stuff like this years back with a guy called Freddy Brazil ha. Keep it up mate!

LJCoffee responds:

Hey pbj, I really wasn't certain how to genre-fy this - but then, I usually don't worry about that sort of thing. It's nice to hear from you!

It's nice to see you're still making tunes on here LJC! Really liking the vibe of this track, it carries itself at a great pace. The mix is bang on, bassy and bright with no messy peaks or phasing. The glitchy stuff is epic. I always enjoy listening to your stuff. Keep it up mate. I'm posting stuff myself still so if you fancy sharing your thoughts it'd be much appreciated!

LJCoffee responds:

Thanks pbj

Oh yes! That's some funky glitchy thwipping and thwopping there! Love it mate, it's a proper head bopping, foot tapping tune! The track evolves nicely with consistently changing melody lines. That vocaloid effect is cool. My only complaint, which coming from me is a bit rich is that I was expecting, waiting for a B section, a chorus. Though the middle 8 later in the track does help to break it up. A vocal would be interesting on this. Excellent stuff mate.

Kingbastard responds:

Agreed about the B-Section, this track was really about getting a groove and just going with it. Upon listening back I too think it needs a little something else, just to break it up a little. It's been released now though, so I won't be changing it;) You live & learn & move onto the next thing... Thanks for leaving a comment.

Epic stuff! Well recorded considering it's a full band, the vocal sits well on the mix.

Mismo responds:

Thanks ^^

Some nice ideas going on on this track. Nice instrument choices, I do feel it is a little overly loud, maybe taming it back would help. It's very quirky and charming though. Keep it up.
