interesting. A bit too heavy in the mix. Just lower the levels a bit.

oooooooooooooo
I can hear where your month has gone. Its very well written, part for part.
1:20 excels. I think your instrument choice is perfect.
Your piano, is too bassy in comparision with the rest of your song. A lack of dynamics and a flat eq hurts the mix. No panning, which for an orchestral piece is disheartening.
It develops well, and movement between phrases is great.
That month you spent writing, spend another producing, you then have work to demo to studios.

It's a nice piano piece. It's a good performance. A bit by number. But what you have here is a very nice track.
Bring this out with a better line on. cut your reverb in the low end. compression, brighten.
I can hear a song in your 2nd phase, develop that section with a drum. make money.

"make money"
nice lol
appreciate the review but about expanding it, this was just a track that came to me while i was (surprise surprise) havin a smoke. i dont expect to do much with it
Squishy bass, ambient sine pads, hip hop beats. Acid arps. Balanced. Mood. Funky.
You get a vocal on this you are earning coin. Love it.
Get a vocal on it.

ps
Get A FUCKIN VOCAL ON IT
Awwwwww mate. This is so good. Simplicity has it's place and it's here. Your vocals are wonderful. Very lennon/mccartney like. That is some lovely riffage. I would maybe add a full drum kit on this, but that is just my preference. That accordian/clarinet tone.....god damn.
That bit of percussion. hell yes.
Production wise, it's faultless. The full track is like peak Brian Wilson.
Mate, you should be promoting this along with your other stuff to radio, you deserve so much more, newgrounds is blessed to have an artist as talented as you amongst their ranks.
it's a 5 all day, I'm gonna purchase your work too.
in awe, as always

Well this certainly isn't my taste. But, the mix is really good. Sample choice is bang on. Its got great energy and develops well, it has a nice flow to it. Yea this is a 5 all day.

I like this a fair bit, its right in my ball park. I have to admit though, the japanese harp is distracting. I'd consider a softer instruments, maybe an orchestral pizzicato with a lush verb. At present its clashing with your groove. I like the panning air pad, and the bass compliments your groove nicely. I think it's mixed well but not perfect. In saying that, I can hear the potential in this. A revision of instrument choice, a bit of tlc on verb and eq, I can see this going places.
It's still a 5 regardless

I don't know the song. But what I can say is they are some bombastic sounds. God that orchestration sounds epic. Did you perform the parts or mix a midi?

You can hear the original here: https://youtu.be/U-xsosv6uM0 I use a notation program called Finale where I input all the parts with mouse and keyboard
Oooooooo them strings are mint. I thought you had too much tremolo initially but you haven't :) I shit you not your opening chords would fit nicely on a track of mine. Called Bad Seed

High strings great, melody is great. Tone is great. I think the piano doesn't sit well, it lacks reverb and sounds separate from the mix, I'd remove it and just play single notes an octave or two lower, really emphasise the mood.
5 as always

Thanks for the comment man. Yeah the piano was kind of an afterthought tbh.
I dig your track. It's funny you noticed the similarity lol it's definitely there. We must've have similar brood sessions that day.
Yea okay I can buy into this. You mixing a clavinet with a harp there, or is it just too high key wise.
Ooooooo the synth, the ambient bitcrushed beat, This is an interesting piece. I'm undecided if the groove is or not. I don't know if the harp is too busy for them to sit well. Definitely verb your harp though.
I keep hearing little flourishes of synth and texture. And I really like what I hear.
Yea your beat is definitely off. The harp is just a tiiiiiiny bit loud overall. I'd try and find/make a new groove with a bit more volume and more bit depth, try running dbglitch on it. Maybe a single note string bass too, maybe .
5 my good man
