Sounds a bit muffled for some reason. Think it's a frequency issue on the high vocarp. I like it regardless. You really do just have a unique style. one i really enjoy.

OOOOOOOO you funky monkey!

Who did the vocal?

Syntrus responds:

Me.

ok. It's 89-93. Huge arp.

Where's the rest of it. Range bro. You start high, where's the rest of the range.

Bad due to bad mixing.

EQ the shit out of parts, pan hard.

You sit and mix, you go from a 7 to a 10.

i always 5

Astro-reality responds:

Thanks dude

You asked so I deliver.

Immediately this is well balanced, from 1st note.

It's a funky, if generic groove, but there's no problem being like that. Oh wow, your high saw and glass fm synth.

That is some really solid 80's work. It's a really well balanced track, I truly enjoyed this. Reminds me of Kraftwork.

Be proud of this, it's really good. Maybe reduce the volume on the saw but yea, i'm proper into this.

Thanks, pitbulljones.

I spent a lot (more than enough) of time on this and it makes my day to see you enjoyed it :).

Yeahhhhhh. It's groovy as fuck. Signature tone. I like the beefy 808.

I'm more guilty of this than you by the way, but try to move out of your comfort tempo lol.

it's a 5 all day

Syntrus responds:

Alrighty

You get 5 just for the hardware you beautiful bastard.

I love this. Oh so tranquil yet meaty. I really dig those bit crunched, subtly glitched drums. A vocal of some sort, spoken word would be epic.

The warmth you drive on this is epic, it really has that intangible 'produced' element.

Lots of verb, filters, all immensely good. The track develops well and tells a good story.

I think some issues lie in the mids, it's a thick track. Some brutal eq could help seperate the parts. I'd be panning harder too. That is about it.

Great track.

Midnights-Ocean responds:

Thanks brah! ^_^ I was hoping you'd like this one. I really liked how this one came together concept wise. So happy and energetic while remaining calm. Yeah real life instruments and tape. Best way to get warmth in heaps. I think I used too much verb though lol. Yeah I have the same problem of there not being quite enough separation of the elements on this one. A bit tighter of a mix would be preferable but I already spent so much time mix tweaking, I'm about done on this one for now. Maybe next time I'll get it a bit better. Cheers!

You beautiful bastard!

Where can I buy a compilation of your guitar work?

Kingbastard responds:

There is a playlist on Spotify showcasing some tracks of mine featuring guitar in some capacity. You can find it here: https://open.spotify.com/user/1144617970/playlist/77FdN0PgN708stb4G5G2LN?si=vByo1mtlSk2ijB0zcAuffw :)

A well arranged piece, if somewhat wide on reverb.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I want to like it but the mix is very bottom and top, no mid energy.

Bit of eq you have a banger
