That's actually a small tongue drum, done live. Hence the the steel drum overtones. Not a Gorillaz cover but definitely done in the style, with a vid in mind vaguely liken to Humility. <:3 Hopefully someday I will get the lyrics recorded properly.

There's a confidence you have lacked in work i have reviewed last. This is cool, confident. Your projection and multi track is brilliant. Excellent harmonic support.

The support, well, not peaking at all. I think it's probably too middley, some pan and mild cut on parts would help, especially on guitar.

Just put me in a chamber with this shit. (caveat, not on monitors) I'm getting a very wide spectrum from the initial padd, maybe cut low and brighten, push higher in volume.

Your glitch is functional if not exciting and the percussion sits well. There is a use of lnr but it's narrow within 30 either side.

I like it for what it is but i have heard you do better

Thanks brah. Yeah the spectral balance needs tweaking I think. The glitch is generic but these days I tend to focus more on melodic content, unless I can do live percussion, then it's a whole different and better thing altogether.

Do I like the track? I'm iffy with it. I hear two, maybe three diametrically oppsed elements. Some of it is 80's, some is grime, some glitch.

you have a decent bass and groove. i think it's overly ambitious and at 15+ minutes asking a lot from a casual listener.

All the smart shit like tempo matching, key integration and mix......no average joe is going to appraise it.

Get this down to 5 minutes.

Ok a bit 'synthy'. Some generic hits, but working with the genre i hear you.

Completely remove the vocal pan on the direct line, put it on the reverb. it's a great groove very joy division, just revise it.

I see someone has found an ambient library. The eq is nice, i'd remove the flange/phaser......if it's the verb doing it, change it for valhalla. Keys are mint, brilliant synth use.

Love the atonal sounds and counter point. I want vox and guitar. And that's 'the giant' again.

You need some gentle cut and pan to separate your range, but it's good work.

yes. nice atmosphere. that drones the giant piano! it's mint! it's hard to tame though. Now I want a vox at 1:50. I want heart break, pinned by cello. verb'd to shit. And then crashing guitar.

i can do that. I think this has huge potential to be a hit, just need to eq and add some brighter tones. think sigur ros, mogwai, tool. That big epic guitar with screaming vox.

there's a clear imbalance between the tune and that fucking donk.

mate, rebalance the levels. it's a wee bit nasty. Bring the drums down, widen the dynamic range of the track. I like the glitch and I can see what you went for but the mix needs balancing
