for the drums, i just slapped some Maximus preset since I couldn't be bothered to actually properly mix/master anything nowadays

hate to break it to you, none of the instruments here are actually recorded.
have you ever noticed that while i specify what software i use, i never specify any hardware? i won't lie, it did start from me messing about on my bass, but i don't have any recording hardware nor do i have any guitars.

yea. really like this, breakbeat drum, bass, strong meolody.

Dude, this needs some real clarity, the reverb is drowning the mix. Your bass, may as well not be there. You need to roll your verb back, then pump your levels, not too much, but you need to be eq'ing and multi comping.

I really love this track, seriously, i'll mix it if you want.

keep doing what you do but refine it.

ok, i hear it. I know what you are aiming for. You desperately need to improve the guitar take. do a DI and a mic. Literally it's just getting a better take and you're grand.

Oh yes this is great. I love the jazz stylings with the flange tremolo. Your vocal is quality, clean and tight. I think they sound slightly detached from the rest of the track, some reverb to match the instruments may work. it's a brilliant track.

This is beautiful. Love the slight rotary on the guitar and lofi feel. My only issue is the track is LOUD. The mains hum is an issue easily resolved with a dedicated filter.

This is some really dream pop, i will keep an eye on you

Thanks a ton for the review!! Yea, I used a different technique for the final mixing, and listening back on it, it does sound a bit muddy doesn't it? Lol, I will go back and work on a better rendering when I get some free time!! Thanks for the advice!

You have a knack of adjusting your tone to different vocal styles, i like that. Yea it's good. I don't think much of the tune. You are the sell on this.

Well then.

There's a bit too much reverb, swallowing up the track and cross phasing. I always find less is more with verb. I like the space, i love the synths. I think it just needs adjusting eq wise and the verb trimming.
